Main Description

This exceptional antique sterling silver salver has a plain circular shaped form, in the classic George III English style.

The surface of this Victorian silver salver is plain and unembellished.

The raised shaped border is embellished with applied scrolling decoration to the rim accented with shell designs to each alternating incurve.

This antique salver is supported by four large and impressive volute scrolling feet ornamented with a simplified chased leaf design.

This exceptional salver was crafted by the renowned London silversmiths Joseph Angell I & John Angell I

Condition

This antique Victorian silver salver is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.
The applied decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the salver are all very clear.
