Description

A finest quality solid sterling silver Quaich or Whisky Taster, which is a miniature sized example with a beautifully pierced handle, and which was made by the very highly regarded silversmiths of the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co, in London in 1939.

Dimensions

The Whisky / Wine Taster measures 2 7/8" or 72mm from the front edge to the handle, with a diameter across the bowl of 2" or 52mm, and it has a good gauge of silver, and a substantial weight for its size of 38.2g (1.24 Troy Oz).

Condition

Very fine condition, and very clean internally, with almost no signs of wear whatsoever, and completely free from any forms of initialling, monograms or crests. Please check the additional photography for self-assessment.
