Beautiful George III silver tea pot.Crisp and clear hallmarks for London 1807
Makers are Peter & William Bateman
The tea pot is in excellent condition with a beautiful wooden handle and a pineapple-design finialAt 200 years old there is the odd tiny scratch and 1 or 2 tiny pin head size knocks to the body. Hardly visible unless you look for them.There is a sign of a small repair to the hinge of the lid which i have tried to photograph and point out in the photographs handle solid, finial turns on pinThe size is approx 7\" 18cm tall to the top of the finial 11\" 29cm wide from end of handle to the end of the spout.
The tea pot has a capacity of 2 pints.
Weight is approx 485g (weight approximate because of wooden handle and finial)
