Very obscure Welsh band (singing in English) DIY/private press. One of the rarest New Wave of British Heavy Metal singles to emerge from the 1980s. Never in picture cover as far as I am aware. Thanks to notes on the paper sleeve by what looks like a reviewer, Stormqueen were called V8 and then later Mad Dog.

VG- (retains a reasonable sheen. there are numerous mostly superficial hairlines/scuffs and marks. both sides play loud and clear, on \'raising the roof\' there are five small ticks right at the beginning, between 0:02>0:07. please hear sound files of actual record below)

I record all soundfiles direct from the record offered in this sale on an Audio TechnicaAT-LP60 USB turntable at a 128 bit rate with no sound manipulation. I have notalways got the time to listen right through each track, if there are any jumps,skips, pops and crackles you will hear them and can offer accordingly. For thisreason I do not accept returns on the basis of record condition. Please listento them before offerding!

All records are sent in manufactured record mailerswith cardboard stiffeners. The vinyl and cover are separated to avoid seamsplits in transit.

I calculate postage using the Royal mail postagecalculator. I charge an extra 50p for packing materials as i buy specialistrecord mailers and stiffeners. Sometimes records cost less to mail than iexpect. In these cases i try to refund the difference.

I grade the records condition visually only, unlessI state what the record actually plays like and provide an audio MP3sample. This is because I do not always have time to play everything, sobear this in mind.

I am strict with my grading so you can feelconfident in my conclusions. My response will reflect this. Anyoneunhappy solely with my visual grading can return item for refund. However if Ihave provided pictures and sound files then I do not accept returns on basis ofcondition.

As a general guide my grading conditions are based on Record Collector Magazine thus:

MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (Ex)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD/WORN

The record has obviously been over played, and will probably display deterioration in sound quality, it will probably have lots of fine lines and the odd scratch. Wear and tear on the cover or extra items.
