Private Mailing Card presumably published by the Strand as an advertising postcard. Standard size vintage postcard. Not postally used but there is a printed message on the back so presumably this was issued shortly after the theatre opened in 1914. Message reads \"I must tell you about my visit to the Strand, New York\'s most beautiful theatre, with a seating capacity of 3500. You must see this theatre; its wonderful photoplays and inspiring orchestra combined with a mammoth organ makes it the show place of the town.\" Nice crisp postcard with minor edge/corner wear.
