A very nice vintage tin lithographed motor oil advertising for Strata Motor Oil. This wonderful engine oil advertising tin is an empty two gallon soldered handle can with a great lithograph of a multi engine flying airliner. The colorful detailed aviation graphic is repeated on the opposite side. Strata 100% Pure Virgin Motor Oil was distributed by Tiona Petroleum Co. Philadelphia, PA. The wonderful airplane advertising tin sign is in very good condition. Still has a nice shine. Very light scattered litho loss with a couple of small dents. The original handle and screw top lid are in fine condition. The only apology is a small rust hole near the spout. The hard to find oil can is about 11 1/2 inches to the top of the handle, about 8 5/8 inches wide, and about 5 5/8 inches deep. A nice addition to an advertising sign, automobile or aviation advertising, motor oil company advertising, or advertising tin collection. Buyer pays $13.95 shipping.
