On offer is a striking sterling / solid silver tea pot set with Anglo-Indian hallmarks. Tea pot and jug hallmarked (body and lid) Sheffield 1918, maker George Howson. Sugar bowl and tongs with hallmarks for Cooke & Kelvey of Calcutta, c1920 (see reference below). The set was clearly intended to be retailed / sold together with matching design and its original fitted case. Case velvet lined with retail stamp for Cooke & Kelvey, Culcutta. Of art deco design with charming original reed covered handles. Base of bowl with presentation inscription from \'Raj Kumai of Sant\'. The result being the most stylish bachelor /bachelorettetea set I\'ve ever come across.

Height tea pot 13 cm. Weight solid silver an impressive 605 grams. Condition excellent. No damage or repair. Just a couple of tiny dings to the pots and very light wear to the case.
