For sale is an Ansonia Porcelain or China clock in a light shade of pink, mauve highly detailed. This has an Open Escapement, 8 day movement striking a gong on the hour and half hour. This is a lovely functional and working piece of art and history. The case was designed and made in Germany. Hand painted and finely detailed. It was imported by the Ansonia Clock Company in New York. The two piece white porcelain dial has a chip between the 5 and 6. The dimensions are 12 inches wide x 11 ¾” tall x 4\" deep. The glass is 5” across with beveled glass 1/8\" thick with no chips or cracks. It does have 2 very old repairs on the feet. One front, one back on the same side. These in no way detract from the stunning beauty and detail of this clock. Otherwise the clock is excellent shape. Not bad for a clock that\'s over one hundred year old! Please examine the pictures. They tell the story better than I. Found at an estate in Pennsylvania.
