Stunning Antique Repousse Dutch 833 Export Silver Catayid Footed Bowl Circa 1860-80.

This beautiful bowl is ornately decorated on four sides with alternating birds and flowers.There are catayids in high relief decorating each foot,which just adds to its amazing unusual sculptured appeal.

In very good original condition with amazing crisp detail.

Measures 5.25\"by 5.25\"and is 3.5\"tall.

Has minimal wear and tear commensurate with around 140 years of service and use.

The key mark intruding on passant lion #2 was used from 1814 indicating 833 grade silver and that tax was not paid on the bowl intended for export.

Will display superbly in any period or contemporary setting.
