A stunning Victorian 15ct Gold Pearl set Ring dating to 1895;the fine Pearls presented in diagonally set rows(please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This wonderful antique Ring, which weighs 2.9 grams, has a reeded shank and bifurcated shoulders with scrolled detail leading to the Pearl set gallery, which is set with five rows of graduated Pearls and measures approx\' 24mm by 6mm.
Confirming that this is a very fine quality Ring indeed, it is stamped inside the shank with a maker\'s mark \'WGM\' for the highly respected firm ofWalter & George Myers together with a full British Hallmark confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold and that it was assayed in Chester in 1895.
Overall this stunning Victorian Ring is in great condition with only wear commensurate with age; all of the Pearls appear to be original and the marks stamped inside the shank are still relatively crisp and clear which is indicative of just how little wear this ring has had.
This antique 15ct Gold Ringis ready to wear and is sized as a UK Ring Size \'M 1/2\', which equates to a US Ring Size \'6 1/2\'; as with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i.eit is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gaugedepending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring whenworn.
