A stunning Victorian 18ct Gold Ruby & Pearl set Ring dating to c1880, which is set with three Pearls surrounded by eight Rubies, all in closed back settings, to create a ring that is simply sublime(please seethe detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of theitem\'s description).
This wonderful Antique Ring, which weighs 2.2 grams, has a sculpted shank with bifurcated shoulders supporting the fabulous gem set bezel, which measures approx\' 15.0mm long by approx 10.0mm high. The ring is set with three half Pearls surrounded by eight Rubies - all set in a closed back setting.
Typical of the period this fine quality ring is unmarked but it is guaranteed to be made from solid 15ct Gold.Overall this beautiful Victorian Ring is in great condition with only wear commensurate with age; on close examination with a x10 loupe there is a scratch to one of the Rubies, but this is not visible to the naked eye and only mentioning for descriptivecompleteness.
