A stunning Victorian 9ct Gold Foiled Garnet & Pearl set Brooch, which dates to c1875. As shown the Brooch is stamped \'9ct\' on the reverse confirming that it is made from solid 9ct Gold(please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This wonderful mid 19th Century Brooch, which is approx\' 6.0cms long & weighs 4.9 grams, has as it\'s focal-point a fabulous Foiled Garnet & Pearl set in arectangularGold closed back mount. The beautiful gem set centrepiece measures approx\' 15.5mm high by approx\' 18mm wide andis centrally set with a beautiful foiled back Garnet (approx\' 7.0mmm by 9.5mm) surrounded by twenty Pearls to create a Brooch that is simply sublime.
As shown, this fine quality Victorian Brooch is in great original condition commensurate to it\'s age; all of the Pearls appear to be original and the only possible modification has been the addition of a safety chain for security &peace of mind.
