Description

A beautiful, late Victorian 9ct gold photo locket pendant, circa 1900.

A very attractive gold frame is topped with an extremely ornate bail (often these are plain gold balls); this is a piece of real quality.

The front of the pendant holds an original photo of a beautiful young girl, with hair cascading around her shoulders and high Victorian collar to her blouse. The other side holds an image of an elderly Victorian lady in mourning (the scratch is on the photo)...both sides have their original bevelled glass covers (one small nibble/chip to bevelled edge seen in last photo).

The bail will unscrew to change the photos if desired.

Measurements: 52mm by 33mm (including bail).

In good antique condition, as shown in photos.Please view all the images as they form a MAJOR part of the description.
