This is a magnificent, intricately carved, antique Chinese chair. Believed to be from the late 1800\'s. The photos describe it better than I ever could. When I first saw it at the sale house from a distance, I thought it waswrought iron because of the detail. Much to my delight I saw it was carved wood. Someone suggested this piece may be Anglo Indian. Any additional info and response would be welcome and appreciated as I am not an expert in this area.
Measures 36\" tall, 21\" deep front to back, and 18\" sitting height. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Will ship with impeccable care, fully insured.
I was unable to find any flaws in this piece outside of the back needing to beaffixeda little tighter to the base. A small dab of wood glue to both sides did the trick.
