Purchased at a store in Wisconsin where a known wealthy immigrant refugee from Imperial Russia lived. Some of her items ended up in this store upon her passing. This is dated pre 1917. Two indistinct hallmarks on reverse of band. One appears to be a Kokoshnik and the other does somewhat resemble the assay mark for St. Petersburg. Assessed at Ginsberg Jewelers in Iowa City, IA. Fully tested for 18K yellow gold. 11.7 g. Stunning hard to find piece. Gorgeous ornate floral and rope design. This has been examined by three different appraisers who all concur this is Imperial Russian. It really is something. Size 8.5 US. Height: 1\" inches Width / Diameter: 1\" inches Depth: 1/2\" inches.
