Breathtakingly beautiful pair of 19c Louis XV gilt fauteuil armchairs and they are all original. They are in excellent condition , no repairs. There is wear to the gilding mostly at the feet, and the original tapestry covering is worn in areas of the armrests ,and seat area has some staining. The carving of the wood frames is exceptional. Please look at all the pictures to fully appreciate the craftsmanship on these special chairs. Gilding is not retouched and maintains its original patina. Chairs are 37\" tall - 26\" wide - seat is 20\" deep and seat height is 17\". Van delivery is available to NYC area , Please contact us for delivery to other areas.
