A stunning & rareVictorian 15ct Gold Garnet set Bracelet, which dates to c1865(please seethe detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of theitem\'s description).

This wonderful mid 19th Century Bracelet is formedby close fitting links to form a flexible Bracelet with a Sliding Clasp that is set with a beautiful large Foil Backed High Cabochon-cut Garnet, which reflects light as an intense red fire (approx\' 11.0mm by 9.0mm and approx\' 5.0mm above the Gold setting).The Bracelet is further embellished with ornate floral and foliate chased decoration & it is completed with an ornate Engraved Terminal (again with floral and scrolling chased decoration) - to complete a Bracelet that is just sublime. Typical of the period the Bracelet is unmarked, but it has been tested and is guaranteed to be made from solid 15ct Gold.

This wonderful Victorian Bracelet has the following dimensions:

Maximum Internal Circumference - Approx\' 21.0cms;

Width of Bracelet - Approx\' 1.0cm; and

Weight - 22.4 grams

Overall this rare Antique Bracelet is in great condition, with wear to the surface,as shown; but commensurate with age there is a tiny Gold solder repair to the underside of the flexible links approx\' 1.5cms from the engraved end terminal where the Gold wire may have had a break. This historic professional repair has been carriedout with great skill& isbarely visible but mentioning for descriptivecompleteness. The Braceletis presented in a good quality modern case, as shown, which displays it perfectly.
