Stunning original 1982 Ron Russell painting, \"Toward the North Star\". Painting is done in acrylic and nitrocellulose, obverse on glass, then exposed to infrared radiation, which makes the colors \"pop\"! The piece measures 36\" high by 48\" wide and features archival framing. The colors are brilliant and vibrant. Photos do not capture the true intensity of this piece.Ron Russell is a pioneer and a master of this genre. (Google \"Ron Russell Artist\" for more images of some of his work). His prints can be found for sale online but the one-of-a-kind originals, especially in this large size, are seldom offered for sale. Several of his originals are on display at NASA, and at other museums and collections.The painting is signed by the artist on the back and comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity.
