Wonderful buttons for the costume designer, seamstress or collector. A stunning set of four blazing abalone shell buttons set in sterling silver. The iridescent colors; pink, green, silver and purple pearl flash in waves when the light reflects of each button. The shell make up reminds one of clouds or waves as the shell is viewed in the ever changing light. Unparalleled abalone, more white/silver than the typical blues, greens, etc. Each button is set in a sterling silver collet with a small sterling wire loop shank. Buttons each measure just a nudge over 1/2 inch in diameter. Buttons are in excellent condition. The buttons have not been cleaned/polished. I leave that decision to the new owner.
