A superb good sized solid silvertea caddy. It is hallmarked with German crescent moon and crown state symbolsalong with the 800 standard mark. It dates to c1890-1910. It has a beautiful serpentineshape and has been intricately embossed with flowers and scenes of childrenplaying. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs.The inside is clean and vibrantly gilded and the lid fits perfectly a tightly. Itmeasures a 3.75 inches (9.8cms) wide by 3 inches (7.5cms) by the same tall and weighs195 grams. A superb quality impressive example.
