Here for your offerding pleasure is a RARE and desirable early 20th Century double lily pad design tray or basket (low sided as you can see) that has a fixed handle on it. Overall condition on this piece is at least VERY GOOD PLUS- take a good look at the photos!! We are not big fans of overstating condition on any piece we sell- this piece does have a uniform patina on it but it is not very heavy and could obviously be polished out if you wanted to take the piece back to a high shine type of finish. We will let that decision be up to the new owner of the piece. There is no damage that I can find on this piece other than just routine light to moderate silver finish wear and even that is mostly all \"light\". The dimensions of this wonderful piece are: 6.25 in.High by 7 in.Wide by 3.25 in. Deep. The markings on this piece are Reed & Barton, Sterling and X103. The handle is really solid on this one, no signs of any sort of stress or repair. The inscription plate is blank, never any initials engraved in it. I\'m really not sure what else to say about this piece- we have tried to get the best non-reflective photos that we could, which is a bit of a challenge with a piece that has so many facets built into the design with the lily pad leaves!!! You just do not see many of these around, and most of the time you do see them they are not as nice as this one and priced HUNDREDS of dollars greater than what we have this piece priced at.
