Thisis a Stylish Old Chinese Face Bead Necklace From Around the 1920\'s.....Art Deco Period By Max Neiger.
Max Neiger Was A Famous Czech Jewellery Designer Who Started Making Striking Stylish Jewellery at the Beginning of The 20th Century in Gablonz until World War 2 in the 1930\'s. Their Jewellery is Never Marked But Has The Distinctive Style & is Now Highly Collectable.....
It is Made Up Of Oval Red Opaque Czech Glass Stones Dimpled with Green Spots with Oval Ribbed Gold Beads, Cream Disc Beads & Has 2 Fabulous Oriental Chinese Men\'s Heads Near The Front With a MatchingDrop Bead In The Centre.......All With Very Good Detailing...There Would Have Been a Tassel At The Bottom But This is Missing.....See Photographs.
ItMeasures Approx 91.5cms (36") Long....Each of The Red Beads Are Approx 1.3cms (1/2") x 6mms (1/4") & The Large Chinese Faces Are Approx 2.2cms (7/8") Long x 1.5cms (5/8" Wide) x 1.5cms (5/8") Deep & It Has NoFastener It Just Slips Over The Head
It isin Good Condition For Its Age There is Just A Little Wear To The Green Paint in The Dimples Of The Red Beads Here & There & The Tassel In The Middle is Missing As Previously Mentioned........See Photographs
