This pen and stylus combination is made from a piece of red palm and the metal parts are bright gold colored. The ink refill extends using a knob on the side of the pen and retracts by unhooking the knob from the catch in the pen. This is the same motion as the bolt action pens, but the knob doesn\'t stick out as far as it does on the bolt action pens.This pen was turned by me in my shop, then finished with multiple layers of sanding polish and friction polish to create a medium shine. The pen is about 5.25 inches long, and it uses a Parker style refill. To replace the refill, simply unscrew the tip off the pen, remove the refill and spring, replace them, and screw the tip back on. The refill included with the pen is black ink. Replacement refills can be purchased at any office supply store. The pen can also have a gel type refill installed in it.The pen comes with two \"back ends\" that can be easily replaced. There is a blank end or a stylus tip, nice for using on tablets or phones. The pen will come with the stylus installed, and the blank tip is included in the package. Please note that the back end stylus and blank tips are the same color as the rest of the metal parts.
