Hallmarked Solid Sterling Silver Rim - Germany - V RARE

This is adelightful solid sterling mountedglass vase with gorgeous ART DECO decoration.It has a solid sterling silver rim that was made in Schwäbish Gmünd, Germany in about 1932 by the illustrious German silversmiths,Gebruder Kuhn.It is in alovely balustershape.It is4 3/8\" in diameter and stands 7 1/8\" tall. The ensemble is very substantial - it weighs 1332.1 grams.

Theglass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or restoration. The rim has the usual light surface scratching but NO splits or repairs, NO dings and NO dents - SUPERB.It is fully hallmarked with the Reichsmark of a crescent moon & crown (Halbmond und Krone),925, STERLING& ahorse makers mark showing that it was hallmarked for Germany in about 1932.
