Up for sale is this beautiful lookinggents solid sterling silver antique 1894 Victorian pocket watch. It featureselegantblack enameled Roman numeral numerals, minute markers and five minute numbers, Spade-stylehands. The original white, porcelain enamel dial is in very good to excellent conditionfor its age, with no cracks or chips and is fully signed W & J THOMASLLANDILO. Moving on to case which is crafted from Solid 0.925 Sterling Silver and is clearlymarked on the inside of the case with a Full English hallmark, it is alsomarked on the inside of the dust cover. The date letter is u, for 1894, place Birmingham,sterling silver mark, case makers initials and serial number. Its condition isvery good for its age even though it is 124 years old! The watches approx size is 72mm from top bow/bottom case, 17.9mmthick and the diameter is 50mm and the weight is a massive 113grams or 3.6 Troy ounces!! Peekinginside I find a crisp and clean movement which is ticking away (completewith its key) and it has been monitored for 18 hours working perfectly and isalso fully signed W & J THOMASLLANDILO. A superb antique timepiece on a sale!!
