On offer here is a wonderful carved bovine bone ojime, depicting Daruma smiling. No damage, small natural age crack. I originally thought it was tagua nut but an saleeer friend of mine said it is bone. Dates from the Edo period, circa 1810- 1860. measures approx 21mm x 10mmLook at pictures closely before offerding, these form the main part of the description. Ask any questions also.
