This is a superb big antique 18 carat gold Victorian circa 1890 ( could be earlier ) Chinese or Japanese cow bone carp brooch. The quality is exquisite with no damage to the gold or bone!The brooch has an 18c stamp on the top and has been fully tested by a local jeweller to confirm it is 18 carat gold.The length is big at 5.5 cm ( two and a fifth inches ) and the pin and C clasp are in good working condition and original.
