This Is a Superb WW1 Era Sterling Silver Cigarette Case With Beautiful Engraving Of RAF Insignia Plus Royal Fusiliers, Ox & Bucks Light Infantry Plus The Machine Gun Corps Insignias.It Is Made From Sterling Silver With a Gilt Interior And Original Straps. It Is Hallmarked For Sterling Silver, Birmingham, 1915/16 And a Makers Mark Of \'HM\' For Henry Matthews.The Top Left Corner Is Engraved With The Initials \'G.F - G.A\' But I Have No Information As To Who This Relates. This Is a Superb WW1 Era Sterling Silver Cigarette Case With Beautiful Engraving Of RAF Insignia Plus Royal Fusiliers, Ox & Bucks Light Infantry Plus The Machine Gun Corps Insignias.

It Is Made From Sterling Silver With a Lovely Gilt Interior And Original Elasticated Straps. It Is Clearly Hallmarked For Sterling Silver, Birmingham, 1915/16 And a Makers Mark Of \'HM\' For Henry Matthews.

The Top Left Corner Is Engraved With The Initials \'G.F - G.A\' But I Have No Information As To Who This Relates To Or As To Why There Are 3 British Army And RAF Insignia Engraving. Although The Case Dates From 1915/16 The Actual Engraving Would Have Occurred Post 1st April 1918 As This Is When The RAF Was First Formed.

It Is In Good Used Condition With No Indentations And Only Minor Wear / Marks Commensurate With Its Age....See Photographs To Review Condition.
