Superb Art Nouveau Style Royal Doulton Series Ware Countess Seriesware Large Jug:

You are invited to offer on a super Royal Doulton Seriesware jug in the Countess pattern. This pattern was produced in quite an extensive range of items and I believe this jug may be quite an unusual size.

Condition:The jug is in excellent vintage pre-owned/used condition and I can see no chips, cracks,hairlines or glaze crazing and the green painted rim is also in good order.

Backstamp: On the base of the jug is the green Royal Doulton printed lion backstamp with the pattern name and the Rd.No. 523784 printed below it.

The jug is @16cms (@6.25 inches) in diameter including the handle and @15cms (6 inches) high. I estimate the parcel will weigh @900gwhen packed.

The following may be boring but it is important information so please do take the time to read.

Sometimes a small portion of the P&P quote is to cover my postage and packing costs which include lots of bubble wrap and foam chippings, especially on larger / heavier items (I only charge a minimal fee for this).

also now charge 10% commission on the postal costs which I believe is unjust. Royal Mail have also just changed some of their services and prices have again increased. Please leave your response based on this and not because you feel the postage costs were high -I cannot be held personally responsible for s fees nor Royal Mails postal prices and do not intentionally overcharge on postage.If when the parcel has been posted I have charged too much I will refund some of postage accordingly.

Please also note:Although the item will be very well packed and wrappedand every effort will be made on my part to try to ensure that the item reaches the winning buyer in the condition described above, I cannot unfortunately be held responsible for any items lost by the Postal Service. I do however keep a record of all of the items that I send and will doall that I can tofile a lost parcel claimshould anything go amiss.I also offer a full return and refund includingpostage if any item I have listed is not as I have described.Please bear in mind however that the majority of the items I list are old and may therefore by their very nature show some signs of use - including minor wear & tear / scuffs and / or marks.
