This sale is for a superb authentic ancient Roman bronze brooch dated 100 AD-300 AD (more than 1700 years old). This brooch has a fabulous \"Knee\" design and beautiful green patina. It is fully intact and in excellent condition. Measures 30mm in length. Found in Europe. Once belonged to David Hendin, the worlds top expert on biblical coins, he is author of the widely used reference book \"Guide to Biblical Coins\". This very piece piece is shown in Hendin Catalog 98 #415 (shown in picture 3).Ancient soldiers would bury their valuable treasures before a big battle hoping to return later.
