The pattern is most attractive and is Old English.

Thispiece is unengraved to both sides. Always has been.

And the hallmarksare very good for a spoon so old.

Itsweight is a hefty 68 grams (2.19 troy ounces).

The length is 8.625 inches.

Assayed in London,1772-yearletter R.

Maker\'s mark present for highly sought after lady silversmith Hester Bateman.

Definitely one for the collectors!
