The pattern isFiddle.

It is engravedwith a delightful stag/antler crest and always has been, definitely no erasures either.

Here we have aquite exceptionaland quite lovelysilversoup ladleofexcellent gauge and weight.Hallmarksarevery goodindeed.

Stamped toback of stem.

Thishugeladleisa fractionunder 13inches in length, it is a most sturdy andsplendid example.

Assayed in Dublin,1808-yearletter M.

Curiously there is no maker\'s mark presentand looking closely I would say that there has never been one either.

Definitely one for the collectors!
