Superb Georgian Wine Rinse Early Nineteenth Century?:

This is a wonderful Georgian or Georgian styled glass Wine Rinser. From the sand spots, the striations, the polished pontiland the size, I am dating it to around 1810. The blue color is glorious and the outside of the rinser has a slight iridescenceto the top half, possibly from being stored in stack, for years. If, by any chance, it is not of the period, then it is an oldWilliamsburg Reproduction one, made in one of the shops during the early 1940\'s. Either way, it is a very special piece ofglasswork.
Size is 5 3/8 inches in width and 4 1/4 inches high. Condition is wonderful, no chips, cracks or cloudiness. I tried to show thewear which is evident on the base, but it did not come out in the photos. This is truly a distinctive piece.
