Large and Impressive French Figural Porcelain 19th CenturyClock in Superb Condition

Very impressive and large Frenchporcelain clock. The condition of this clockis superb in all respects, outside of a small repair, only visible from the side, shown in the last photo. Porcelain is just superb, very colorful and ornate, with a figure of a woman and a cherub.Porcelain dial shows no damage whatsoever.The clock runs perfectly and even retains its original pendulum with serial number matching that of the movement (which is marked by Japy Freres).Someone fashioned a wooden plate in the bottom of the clock - it is not original to the clock and can easily be removed. However, it does not hurt anything, cannot be seen (unless looking into the clock from below), so I just left it there. The bezel does not open fully - 6th picture shows it as open as it gets. Pictures speak for themselves, but do let me know if you have any additional questions. The clock measures 19.5\" high and will be difficult to ship internationally due to the Post Office box size limitations.

This creates a problem -because of the language barrier I cannot even explain to the buyer how to attach the pendulum or balance the clock. I speak English, Russian and French and no other languages, if you think that you will need help and advice from me, please make sure that you can speak one of these. All antique pendulum based clocks require at least a minimal expertise to balance correctly to make them run - please keep this in mind when buying.
