Up for sale is this lovely sterling silver document clip by George W. Shiebler & Company. This clip is large measuring 3¼ inches long by 1⅝ inches wide and weighs 2.19 ounces or 62 grams on my postal scales. I believe it to be an excellent example of Shiebler\'s silver smithing depicting a Chrysanthemum or maybe a Dahlia. A lovely piece in a larger size. The back of this clip is marked \"STERLING 3896\" and also contains the Shiebler hallmark. There is no monogram on this piece.

This clip is used and in used condition. It has several very minor scars or marks and maybe even a very slight bending of the silver at the very top and the very bottom, in keeping with its age. It looks fantastic, it is nearly perfect. Please examine the pictures carefully and ask any questions before you offer or buy. From a local estate sale, this clip is shipping in the exact same condition as when I purchased it, but I did polish the sliver a bit with Wright\'s Silver Cream. I\'ll leave an further cleaning to the new owner.
