Superb large GEORGIAN SILVER MILK PITCHER London 1800, gilt CREAM JUG 230g crest:

We are offering for sale a lovely qualityand very large Georgian silver milk pitcher or cream jug (see final photo showing its scale with a standard sized drinks can).

This roundjug is demi-fluted with a gadroon rim and four ball feet, plus the interior is beautifully gilt (gold-wash). There is an original and interesting engraved crest for the Murray family with motto toone side. The motto reads: \"Superna Venabor\".

This Georgiancream jughas a good solid feeling of quality and is in excellent condition. As a largejug it can have many uses beyond its original intention for milk.
