Vintage French Art Déco Bronze Statue

Superb Frenchbronze statuette from the Art Déco era,

portraying a graceful woman resting on one knee, andarose in hand.

With her waved bobbed hairstyle, her elegant elongated figure

and sleek gown, this lovely lady isstraight out of the 1920s-1930s.

A doe is lounging on her side, while lookingpeacefully at her.

This representation of the feminine was much in vogueduring the period.

This original piece, which was formerlyaffixed to a marble base,

is rather large, measuring 13” long and justover 9” tall.

As shown in the photos, it remains in superb overall condition,

with just minor – and barely noticeable – wearearned with the years.

The golden coloring of the metal has a lovely aged patina,

but could use a good cleaning to bring out its shine.

Simply said,this superbly detailed French statue is just

a highly decorative piece with lots of Art Deco appeal!
