Old Japanese Kanzashi Set - Lacquer and Maki-e Kushi & Kogai

Description:Kogai is a transformational kanzashi type for binded hair. This one is accompanied byKushi (comb) in the same crane design (on the top edge). The kogai is the one piece type.

This is a beautifulkanzashi set. It features scenery ofMt. Fuji. The artwork is elaborately detailed by skillfulmaki-e artist. The comb is likely made of lacquered boxwood.
