HERE FOR SALE WE HAVE A BRASS TABLE BELL IN THE FORM OF THE ORIGINAL HILL 60 WAR MEMORIAL AT YPRES , THE MEMORIAL TO THE QUEEN VICTORIA\'S RIFLES. THE MEMORIAL WAS OPENED IN 1923, MY GRANDFATHER ATTENDED. HE LOST HIS BEST FRIEND ON THE NIGHT OF THE 21st APRIL 1915 . MY GRANDFATHER CHERISHED THIS BELL AND ALWAYS TORE STRIPS OFF US KIDS FOR PLAYING WITH IT.

THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY RARE MEMORIAL BELL MADE IN 1923. THE GERMANS IN 1940 DESTROYED THE MONUMENT AND WHEN THE SECOND WAR ENDED THE MEMORIAL CHANGED...AND AFTER WWII THE MEMORIAL BELL WAS TURNED INTO A WINDMILL FGS!

I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER LIKE IT, THIS IS A VERY RARE PIECE OF IMPORTANT WWI MEMORABILIA, CREATED JUST AFTER THE END OF THE WAR.
