This sale is for a Fantastic Pair of Antique Weller Art Pottery Majolica Jardiniere and Pedestal Sets Designed in a Geometric Art Deco Pattern and Decorated in a Striking and Rare Blended Pink and Green Glaze.
It is Very Rare to find a Matching Pair of these sets, especially in this fine condition and in this Great Color combination, which interestingly resembles that of a watermelon and goes with endless types of plants.
The Display Wonderfully together and will instantly become the Decorative Focal point of any room.
The jardinière and pedestal measure 27 1/2 inches tall together. The pedestals measure 18 inches tall and 9 inches across at the base. The jardiniers are 10 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches across at their widest point.
There are no chips or cracks or damage in either set, with the exception of a small glaze/paint flake in the bottom foot of one pedestal (last photo). One pieces have very minor glaze slips and the pedestals have a few short, firing imperfection lines from the manufacturing process. They are not damage.
All the pieces have fine, even crazing, as expected from Art Pottery of this era. It only adds to the character and authenticity of these pieces.
I believe they date to circa 1920. The pieces are not marked, as is typical with jardinieres of this period. I believe they were made by Weller, given similar examples found in my research.
The glaze of the pedestals and jadinieres blend from a soft green at the top to a vibrant pink at the bottom. The interior glaze of the jardinieres is a darker, moss green.

I charge actual shipping and will send this either by USPS Priority Mail or by FedEx Ground, whichever is less expensive.
Because of the size and weight of these items, I will send them in two separate large boxes for safest transport. That is reflected in the shipping cost.
NOTE: I can\'t send by FedEx Ground if it is going to a PO Box. If shipping works out to be less than you pay, I will reimburse the difference.
