Very beautiful pair of cobalt blue porcelain or ceramic lidded urns/ vases, with gold accents and gilt metal ( probably brass ) handles and base.
Each vase has two different portrait medallions on the front and back, one depicting a very beautiful french young woman with roses in her hair, and the other one with another beautiful girl wearing a red head piece.
There are slight differences in colors and features between the portraits on the two urns.
Both urns are in excellent condition, free of any damage. Minor gilt loss, please preview all pictures carefully.
Sevres-style mark on the underside, not to be confused with the 18th C. Sevres mark. Most likely made in the 20th c . Each portrait is signed on the lower side.
They stand 25\" tall and 9\" high. Very heavy.
