A superbly cast and handcrafted pair of gilt and patinated bronze Empire style wall sconces or appliqués, made in Paris, France by \'P. Fourcoux\' circa 1930. They feature the quintessential Empire period \'arrow\' motif along with classical heads. I\'m not certain if P. Fourcoux is related to the firm of \'Fourcoux-Prince\' that manufactured recreations of early period works in Paris around the same period. Well crafted and highly decorative, these are rather rare examples. The sconces measure approximately 20.25\" long.
