Superb pair of mid 19thc Staffordshire black & white spaniel hearth dogs in sitting pose. Dating c.1860.
Excellent attention to detail on this fine pair of hearth dogs. Bright yellow eyes and pink muzzle with finely painted whiskers and red mouth. The dogs are very nicely marked with black feathering.. Gilt collar and tag.Measures some 7.5\" height.

Condition of this pair is excellent and age commensurate with a superficial hairline to back of one dog. All as per images.
