Up for sale with is a Superb Quality 1805 Georgian London Sterling Silver 3pc Tea Set or Service. The Tea Set is one of the finest quality Georgian Period services I have sold in a very long time. All 3 pcs are very thick Sterling Silver throughout which makes the set quite sturdy and durable for modern use. The Set is also very elegant in form and quite beautiful with finely Hand Etched designs throughout including Monogram areas that have never been engraved. The Cream and Sugar also feature rich Gold Gilt interiors. The Service is in excellent all original condition with the original Carved Wooden handle to the Teapot, the only thing to point out is the finial is as found but could be restored or replaced quite easily I am sure. The Tea Service is a nice large size for modern use and displays beautifully with the Teapot measuring 11\" long by 5\" tall and holding4 cups, the Cream Pitcher standing 3-3/4\" tall and the Sugar Bowl measuring 7-1/4\" wide across the handles. The Service also has a quality weight of935 grams combined and you canreally appreciatehow thick the Sterling is when held in your hands. All 3pcs are fully Hallmarked with Matching Hallmarks for the fine Period Silversmith John Emes, London England, Sterling Silver and the Date Letter \"K\" for 1805. Georgian Silver is getting harder and harder to find, I doubt you will find many full matching services this nice and in such fine condition up for sale, especially with !
