Superb Rare 18th Century Russian Snuff Box:

I have for sale a museum quality superb, rare 18th century Russian snuff box, it is gold plated. I cannot quite make out the hallmarks they are partly obscured by age.

This snuff box is dated 1790. It has been produced to commemorate a tzarina Katherine II.

A similar medallion snuff box that dates back to the same time period is currently displayed in a Moscow Museum in Russia. (See pics)

This snuff box is extremely rare and collectible.
