Superb Rare French Aesthetic OysterPlate ~ Birds and Bees 1880 AESTHETIC MOVEMENT PERIOD ~ TERRE DEFERFRENCH BROWN TRANSFERWARE OYSTER PLATEc. 1880 This ver rare example of FrenchVictorian earthenware measures 9 3/4inches in diameter and transfer printedin dark brown. The printed transferfeatures a scene of Birds, Bees andButterflies in each of the 7 Oysterwells. Absolute best example we haveseen in this form from the period,1875-1890.Never Used.
