This is a magnificent, Royal Doulton figurine,called \'Eventide\' model number HN2814, designed by William Harper and discontinued in 1991.It depicts an elegant lady sowing a beautifully coloured quilt, inabsolutely fantasticoriginal condition, manufactured byRoyal Doulton, England.

Thecolouring in thisceramic statueis superb .... realstrong vibrantcolouring,absolutely exquisite. I really don\'t believe my pictures are doing thisfigurine true justice.The colours and the way they\'ve been mixedis just truly magnificent.

William K Harper ....

William Harper joined Royal Doulton as a freelance modeller in 1973. He had previously worked with a number of other ceramic companies includingWade. Character studies soon became his forte at Royal Doulton. William Harper had an indisputable style of his own, responsible for the London series and portrait figures. A charming and friendly man who often attends Doulton fairs and collectors meetings regaling some of the stories behind his exquisite figures.
