This is a Parker Sonnet fountain pen which is gold-plated in a pattern of wavy lines and plain bands. I believe that this is the Cascade pattern. I am uncertain of the date of manufacture but I understand that the Sonnet range was introduced in 1993. The pen has a capped length of 13.7cm and fills by means of the converter in situ or can also be used as a cartridge filler.

The only barrel imprint is an \'M\' on the feed which denotes the nib size. The nib imprint reads \'Parker. 18K. 750\'. There is an imprint on the cap, in one of the plain bands, which reads \'Parker Sonnet. IP\'.

The pen is in superb condition, pretty much Mint - no signs of use at all.

The pen is in working order. It has not been inked so I filled it using water and can confirm that it works perfectly. I can see no reason why it should not be a lovely writer.

This is a very handsome Parker Sonnet pen in superb condition and fully functional. Whether to be installed in a collection or to be used daily, I\'m sure that the buyer will be delighted with it.
