Description A really superbrare genuine antiquelateVictorian solid silver \"novelty\" miniature bureau/cabinet box in excellent cleanconditionand dating from around 1890-1900. Stunning highquality 115+year old solid silver example,definitely not a modern re-production,probably Dutch/German and very detailed, decorated with embossed figures and scrolls, with one large and 4 smaller fully removable drawers and it rests on 4 silver lions mask cabriole legs.Weighs a heavy approx 90 grams and there areno addedengraved monograms. A fabulous piece.

MeasurementsGreat size, measures approx. 2.75 inches (69mm)in height x 2.35 inches (59mm) wide (including legs) and is1.25inches (31mm) deep.

Date Antique Victorian solid silver, probably Dutch/German, with clear continental silver hallmarks, including an \"800\" silver stamp and a \"crown\" silver mark. Hallmarked in numerous places and on every drawer.100% guaranteed antique solid silver and dates from around 1890-1900.

ConditionReally excellentclean condition,no splits or cracks, no solder repairs and knocks or dents, a stunning piece, has probably been inside a collectors cabinet most of its life. All the silver drawers are original and remove fully and it is all beautifully detailed. A fine raregenuine antiquenovelty/miniature solidsilverbureau box, direct from a private estate. One of the best examples I have had, you rarely see them as nice as this.
