Here Is A Really Stunning And Rare VintageDutch Hallmarked sterling silver paper opener commemorating the launch of the ship SA Hexrivier in 1966. I have included a photo of the ship.

The blade is engraved with the launching details (see photograph).

The item is approx. 7.25 inches (18.5cm) long.

it weighs a substantial 43.9 grams.

Hallmarked to the blade with Dutch sword mark for 835 standard and makers mark B below a crown, believe that this could be earlier than 1966 and engraved later because of the crown and B mark which was used from 1807 to1810. The sword mark does date to the time of the ship launch.
